Alexander Dale Oen

We have been reading about the tragic death of the Norwegian swimmer Alexander Dale Oen  in Arizona, USA. The article we were reading appeared in the New Zealand Herald dated May 2, 2012. We were asked to research about different things mentioned in the article. Our group found out about Arizona. Here is my report: Arizona is in the state USA, the capital is Phoenix. The population of the state is six million,four hundred and eighty two thousand, five hundred and five. Arizona is famous for their grand canyon that you can go see.

The game that people play. 28/02/12

Netball, softball, rugby (league + union) are games that people play. All of theses games get you to play outside and get active,instead of being inside and being bored. Playing more games like these you get to have more fun and also, you get to enjoy the game with your mates.

Did you know that all of these games are all played with a ball. There is games all over the world that are played with a ball.

’A Spanish bullfighter who lost sight in one eye and has partial facial paralysis after a terrifying goring returned to the bullring today, five months after his injury.

Duffy Theater

Laughing at the Duffy theater, the funniest character of the show was Scruffy and the 2nd funniest was Wiremu. In the theater there was lots of laughter, dancing as well as singing which was cool all together.

There was lots of scenes but my favorite scene was the book shop, where there was a fake Sony Bill and he was getting a birthday present for his daughter Emmy. The present was a book called "The best book in the world". In the book there was Marvel who was in the main character in the book.

I enjoyed watching it, and I cant wait for next year to come. I am so happy that they came this year.

Netball

The ball came at me like a rocketed into my chest.This wash't as easy as i thought in my head.Then the team that we were playing scored into one of the goals that was the score In the corner.It was fun playing but at the same time it was hot.

Our couch was name is Lizs she was from Auckland school.She showed us how to a chest past.After she taught us the chest pass she showed us the bounce pass.

Experiencing Netball was fun can't wait to do it again.
