Not So Bad After All

Our shoes in the mud were going swish swosh as each step as we took.
The Pt England reserve is where our cross country took place. The Pt England Reserve grass was muddy also wet.

On the 17th of August we had cross country. It was a fun and muddy course. In the mud it felt like we were a little child running in the mud.

Staff from our school were out on the course to watch cross country happen. Telecom Volunteers were out there on the Bushwalk that was apart of the reserve.

Cross Country was a long distance course. The course was long distance it made me Exhausting. Over all I had a great time doing cross country and it was fun.

Nature or Nurture

What makes a great athlete? Does someone know? Well here is my opinion , what makes a good athlete is hard work and desire puls dedication.

Take Dick Quax for example, he used hard work and determination. He used these to win a silver medal in the Edinburgh Commonwealth Games for the 1,500 meters. He has won another silver medal  for the 5,000 meters in Montreal Olympics in 1976. Quax’s athleticism has inspired many people .

Hard work, desire and dedication makes a good athlete. Dick Quax is an great example of this. Nature or Nurture? It  is about Nurture,  it’s about how athletes use hard work to achieve their goals.
